Alkali Metals Ltd (AML) was established in April 1968 by late Dr. Y.V.S.S. Murty, who was the founder Chairman to manufacture Sodium Metal and down stream chemicals in its plants at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, India.

AML is a listed company on India stock exchanges namely BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) & NSE (National Stock Exchange) with effect from 6th Nov. 2008. on BSE & NSE.

AML manufactures variety of products ranging from Alkali Metal Derivatives, Amino Pyridines, Tetrazoles, Cyclic compounds and Fine chemicals. Ours is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company following cGMP Standards.

The Company's "Export House" is recognised by Director General of Foreign Trade, Government of India.

The Company's R&D facility is approved as an "IN-HOUSE R&D CENTRE" by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

The company has Global exposure by participating in International Exhibitions like CpHI, Informex, Chemspec and PhiUS as follows.
